On-duty pediatrician
Six pediatricians, experimented in neonatology, are on duty in turns at the maternity.
The on-duty pediatrician can be called by the gynecologist or the midwife to be present at your delivery.
Consultations at the maternity
The on-duty pediatrician is in charge of the consultation of the first 24 hours, the monitoring of your child during your stay, in accordance with the pediatric nurse or the child care auxilaries, and takes care of the release consultation. This consultation can also be made by your attending physician.
