Dr Laurence DESTRIEUX is a vascular surgeon, former senior registrar at the Clinical Medical School of Lille (Master in vascular surgery, Master in general surgery), member of the French Vascular Surgery Society, member of the French Vascular Surgery College and owner of an endovascular therapy diploma.
Dr Guilhem SEBAN is a vascular surgeon, former senior registrar at the Paris Faculty of Medicine (Master in vascular surgery, Master in general surgery), member of the French vascular surgery society, holder of an endovascular therapy diploma and FMH practitioner (general and vascular surgery). Dr. Seban is also owner of a Medico-surgical Thoracic Oncology Interuniversity Diploma (Paris Descartes-Cochin Faculty of Medicine)
Objectives of the vascular surgery department
- Excellence; Having introduced early on in the Haute Savoie area mini-invasive and cutting edge endovascular techniques, the policy of the vascular surgery unit is to propose taking charge of the heaviest pathologies (aortic aneurysm, arteritis of the lower limbs, lung cancer for example) by using the techniques that are the most efficient and the simplest for the patient.
- The doctor-patient relationship; There is no good surgery and there can be no good results without a good doctor-patient relationship. All explanations, even the most technical, will always be given to any patient who asks for them. Possible risks and complications to any operation are clearly discussed with the patient and his family.
