Quality Procedures

& Certification

All along the Clinique's development the physicians and the professionals have always taken pride in bringing the patients quality care in a context of maximum safety.

Thus, the momentum initiated by the clinic was recognized at its first accreditation in May 2003. The efforts continuation in this direction has permited to the clinic to receive, with satisfaction, the second version of the certification report awarded by the High Authority of Health (HAS) in April 2007.

This approach has been conducted involving users of the health system. Their motivation and their involvement were assessed and highlighted by the visiting experts and the clinic management.

More than 100 professionals have participated actively in the preparation of this visit, which consisted in a self-evaluation based on approximately 210 criteria or questions.

The perennial aspect of this process is translated by the presence of an internal authority: the Pilotage Committee whose mission is to follow the evolution of the actions engaged and who meets every month. It is made up of care professionals and members of management.

Since 2005 users participate actively in this process. They sit on the Commission for User Relations and quality of care and have taken part in the preparation of the 2006 Certification by being associated with the self evaluation groups.

The Health Higher Authority

The HAS is an advisory, public and independant scientific expertise body in charge of:

  • evaluating the medical usefulness of all of the acts, services and health products taken care of by the health insurance,

  • putting in place the health establishment certification,

  • promote good practice and the good use of care with health professionals and the wider public.

The HAS formulates recommandations, gives independant, impartial and authoritative opinions. They enlighten the public authorities as to decisions about the reimbursement of medical products and services and contribute to the improvement of the quality of professional practice and care given to the patient.

The Health Higher Authority takes on the missions of the National Agency for Health Accreditation and Evaluation, of the transparency Commission and of the Commission for the evaluation of products and services and is given new ones.

The HAS was created by law n°2004-810 of August 13 2004 relating to health insurance. The HAS was set up on the 1st of January 2005. Its organisation and its functioning are set by the decree n°2004-1139 of October 26 2004.

Global patient satisfaction rate

One of the indicators of the continuous improvement process is the global patient satisfaction rate.

This rate is measured using a satisfaction questionnary. For 2007, over all our patients, the global satisfaction rate is illustrated opposite.
